By Gipfeli I bought this thermostat because its sleek design, with all the checks that are not needed every day is hidden under the hood. If you live a very simple program, this thermostat will work for you follow. But if you leave the house in the country illegally and you do not want to keep the house warm while you're away, do not. The problem is that if you leave home and to manually stop the temperature, the temperature will return for two hours. This is neither on the box or documented in the manual. But if you call their hotline, they say. So the options are to close the program, every time you leave the house, but then let the module to the front that this device far more ugly than the messy race (the program button is hidden) is. Easy to install, operate by David Caruso, I had an old Honeywell "The Tour" and wanted to replace mercury thermostat with a programmable. Honeywell chose this model because of its reputation, and because it is a backlit version of one of the most popular models. The instructions are quite clear on how to install. The only hard part is figuring out what wire you use in your home, that way of course, can not know. In an old house with an old thermostat, can be a problem if the wires are not labeled or color coded, but I was able to run smoothly. The thermostat has two programs, one for one week and on weekends ... very easy to configure. It comes preprogrammed with the Energy Saver program proposed. You can temporarily override the program to get the house warmed up a bit more by changing the temperature .. then automatically revert to your playlist. Well for two gas ovens for wire BULLSHIT instructions not know if this works on a 2-wire furnace, but it does. Just install the red wire in the groove existing RC (which comes with a jumper over a Rh-room left). Connect the white wire to the W slot and it works fine. Removed an old two wire mercury switch.
