Very helpful customer reviews 97 of 97 people found the following review helpful. 1,500 th Thermostat by Lux Products Lux Products Smart Temp Programmable GP Stern TX1500E After studying the thermostat thermostat, my builder-grade thermostats 1 week replaced with a pair of Lux 1,500 th unit. This was a Consumer Reports "best buy models from last year (the other lux). I also really like Lux programming button that programming easier with the wheel, there are less obscure key combinations to use. Installation is simple and straightforward . The display on the 1,500 th is quite large and has an electroluminescent backlight that is activated by pressing a button. I'm farsighted, but the screen can read without my glasses. The 1,500 th thermostat is a 5-1-1, but also a "special" schemes that can be used for holiday or vacation make this a 5-1-1-1 thermostat. I found the program to quickly and easily and the device works as advertised. I have a complaint or a whim of the complaint mentioned: The manual is not the best. In particular, there is little explanation of the swing function or what the numbers really mean swing. I sent an email to Lux and received a call the next day with a detailed explanation. Great customer service! For the record, the balance of the establishment figures correlate with quarter degrees (the instructions should indicate, but no).
