Best thermostat with remote control perfect for serious Sirius User I bought a programmable thermostat LUX TX9000RF wanted to be able to remotely control my AC and heat from my bedroom for those times when I want to make minor changes in temperature. Installation was easy, clear instructions and it works perfectly. I threw my old Honeywell thermostat setback as the Lux has a number of well-defined energy efficiency programs. I highly recommend this unit for those who want better control of the AC or heat in odd times. With Rebecca13K This was one of the best purchases I've made. I was so tired of waking up in the middle of the night and had to walk down to regulate temperately. This thermostat and remote control works exactly as advertised The only difference I notice is lighter than the temperature reading of the house does not seem as sensitive as my old thermostat, so sometimes you have to put a little cooler than you imagine doing it then. Heyn This is a great unit - easy installation (about 30 minutes for a non-specialist HVAC) with good indications. The remote has a large variety - We operate through a 3000 + SF home safely. Several channels are available, so if you like me, you can install multiple remotes controlling multiple thermostats. What impresses me a lot with this unit is the stored energy in a way that cuts off my bill for public services. If air conditioning is turned on (perhaps for the furnace cooling to - I do not know, because here know, in San Diego in September and I can not wait to find out), the camera spool compressor to cool the air and possibly turn the compressor during blasting operations in In other words, you get more fresh air and not only pay for the fan and the air conditioning system more energy efficient.
